Tables Set For Inaugural Jaret "JT" Minami Scholarship Poker Tournament

CARSON -- A four-year letter-winner on the Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team, Jaret "J.T." Minami unexpectedly passed away in August of 2008. To honor his legacy the CSUDH men's and women's soccer programs have established the JT Minami Memorial Scholarship fund, with the next fundraiser set to be a poker tournament on September 25.

The scholarship fund, which offers a scholarship to both a deserving men's and women's soccer player each year, is in its second year of honoring the legacy of J.T. Minami.

Date: Saturday, September 25, 2010
Time: Doors open at 5:00pm, tournament begins at 6:00pm
Location: 2824 Columbia Street, Torrance, CA 90503
Format: No-limit Texas Hold'em
Buy In: $100.00
Re-buys: $50.00, until 7:30pm only
Food and drinks will be provided
Prizes: Top five finishes all receive non-cash prizes (details coming soon)

Those who wish to attend but do not wish to play are welcome. However, we ask that all those in attendance make a donation to the scholarship fund.
