Well-Wishers Welcome Home Women's Soccer NCAA National Runner-Ups

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- A gathering of nearly 100 staff, faculty, students and family from Cal State Dominguez Hills welcomed home their 2009 NCAA National Finalist women's soccer team upon their arrival into Los Angeles International Airport late Sunday night after the squad's hard-fought 1-0 loss in the NCAA Championship game to No. 3 Grand Valley State one day earlier.

Although weary from the flight and disappointed at the result of the title game, head coach Joe Flanagan and three key players who are set to return in 2010 for another run at the Final Four relayed what a great experience it was, and how making the title game gives the squad an unlimited ceiling of confidence heading into next year.
