Toros Men's & Women's Soccer Playoffs Continue on Internet Television

LA JOLLA, Calif. / DURANGO, Colo. -- CSUDH soccer fans everywhere can follow the Toros this weekend with either live audio, live video, or live stats. The Toros women's soccer team plays at 7:00pm Friday night vs UC San Diego, while the men will play their quarterfinal match Sunday at 12 noon PST at No. 1 Ft. Lewis.

The women's match will be nationally televised live via Internet TV on the Toro Sports Network. Fans can watch free of charge and there is no registration required. Coverage online at www.GoToros.com/Live begins about 6:55 pm. David Smock will call the play-by-play action with game analyst Troy Holland.

If the Toros win Friday night, they would play at noon Sunday in the NCAA Division II National Quarterfinals also in La Jolla versus the South Central region champion, either St. Edward's (Texas) or West Texas A&M. If the Toros advance, the Sunday afternoon game would also be televised live on the Toro Sports Network starting around 11:55am.

The Toros men's soccer team's NCAA quarterfinal match on Sunday at 12 noon Pacific Time versus top-ranked Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, will be televised live online here free of charge.

Earlier today, the CSUDH community came out in full force to wish both teams well with a pep rally in the Loker Student Union food court, with the Office of Student Life's Marco Dowell serving as emcee.

The national quarterfinal winners Sunday will advance to the NCAA Division II Final Four in Florida on December 3 and 5, hosted by the University of Tampa.
